Social Media

Social Media Networking

There are many different types of social media sites but this is only a few of them . First of all there is Facebook , Twitter , Google Plus , Linkedln , My Space , and way more ahead. Mostly all of these sites have problems started over them . When you think about it , its kinda stupid what people fight over! Just think would they actually walk up to you and say the stuff that they do over line? Mostly not, unless it’s a "Hey or what’s up?"

These are some of the pro’s about social media sites mostly Facebook tho . First of all its an easy and simple way to keep in touch with friends and family! Then you can simply connect with forgotten friend ships! It’s a good thing to do when you get bored just log on and do what ever play games, look at all the new fashion trends , talk to friends and family !There’s a lot of games on Facebook like Farmville , Café world , Yoville and lots more! There so much you can do!

You have to think about all of the con’s tho! Social media is dangerous! Remember that one , in farther news here are some of the con’s about facebook and other big hit media sites . On these sites a lot of people have fake identity’s so you have to be super careful with who you add! Be careful with posting pictures think twice before you post something silly that will ruin your life in the future. Facebook is like smoking you get addicted to it very easily.

That is some of the pro’s and con’s about all of the social media networks! Hope you learnt something from this ! Plus mostly every thing has pro’s in con’s but when it comes to the internet. There’s way more then you think that there is! Use the internet wisely!

the game of basketball...:D

Basketball is a hard sport! It has to do with a lot of math! For example it has to do with alot  of angles!!Ms.Dowker always tells us that its for smarty pants and that why were good at it! Once in a while it can get really hard and rough but we were tought not to worry and just move on with the game . The last game that we play was really rough it was like football and hockey mixed together with a bit of rugby! I got punched about 15 times... 3 in the face . I had a fat lip by the end of it! But in the end we all sucked it up and won the score ended up being 26-14 ... i think ! Any ways the basketball team that we played against , they didn't like us at all! They were getting really mad at us!

Inferenceing

1. I wouldn't eat after that two-year-old if I were you.
Inference: The two-year-old probably did something gross to the food you were
about to eat, or has a cold and you could catch it. Something bad will
happen to you if you eat it because he "I wouldn't" sounds like a
warning!

2. For Valentine’s Day, my fantastic neighbor gave his wife a poem that took him
about two seconds to write. Sheesh.

Inference: My neighbor is not very considerate since he didn't take his time
writing the poem, the text clue that led me to this decision was the
"Sheesh". People usually say "Sheesh" when they are annoyed or
frustrated.

3. A man ran after a retreating bus, waving his briefcase frantically.
Inference:  a buissness man ran after the bus because he missed it and needed to get to work

4. If she died, I wouldn’t go to her funeral.
Inference: it would be to sad to go to her Ann-Marie's funeral if she ever died it would be way to hard for me .

5. Jake almost wished that he hadn’t listened to the radio. He went to the closet
and grabbed his umbrella even though he would feel silly carrying it to the bus
stop on such a sunny morning.

Inference: on the radio it said that it was gonna ran today but it was such a sunny morning but he grabbed his umbrella anyways.

6. Hey! What happened to all the school construction money taken from the
taxpayers? It paid for this toilet the money was flushed down.

Inference:   somebody took it and flushed it down the toilet because they didn't like the construction invension.

7. As you give a speech in front of a large audience, you realize that people are
laughing behind their hands and pointing to the region below your waist.

Inference:   I accedentaly spilt cranberry juice all over my pants.

8. No, Honey, I don’t want you to spend a lot of money on my birthday present. Just
having you for a husband is the only gift I need. In fact, I’ll just drive my
old rusty bucket of bolts down to the mall and buy myself a little present. And
if the poor old car doesn't break down, I’ll be back soon.

Inference:  shes telling her husband that she's wanting a new car for a birthday present so she says and old rusty bucket or bolts.

9. A woman walks into a hospital clutching her abdomen and cursing out her husband,
who trails behind her carrying a large bag.

Inference: her water broke so there bringing a comfy wardrobe that will make her feel more comfrting at the hospital when she has her baby.
10. You're driving on the highway, listening to the radio, and a police officer
pulls you over.

Inference:   the music is way to loud so I get pulled over.

Gun Massacres 14 Women

I was suprised when i found out that a guy named Mark Lepine who on Dec 6th 1989, who murdered 14 women , wounded 10 women and 4 men at the university École Polytechnique . He shouted '' une gang de feministes '', "J'hais les feministes [ I hate feministes ]" .  He roams the corridors yelling," i want women'. He shoot the women ; then killed himself .

Growing up he praticed on pigeons. He was 25 at the time. Lepine was born Gamil Rodrigue Liass Gharbi, in Montreal, the son of a Canadian nurse and an Algerian-born businessman . His farther was abusive and contemtuous of women . Lepine was considered bright but withdrawn  and having difficulties with peer and faimly relationships. He changed his name to Marc Lepine at the age of 14 giving as the reason his hatred of his father.

  • This is his suiside statement that he wrote before the killing:

Forgive the mistakes, I had 15 minutes to write this. See also Annex.

Would you note that if I commit suicide today 89-12-06 it is not for economic reasons (for I have waited until I exhausted all my financial means, even refusing jobs) but for political reasons. Because I have decided to send the feminists, who have always ruined my life, to their Maker. For seven years life has brought me no joy and being totally blasé, I have decided to put an end to those viragos. I tried in my youth to enter the Forces as an officer cadet, which would have allowed me possibly to get into the arsenal and precede Lortie in a raid. They refused me because antisocial (sic). I therefore had to wait until this day to execute my plans. In between, I continued my studies in a haphazard way for they never really interested me, knowing in advance my fate. Which did not prevent me from obtaining very good marks despite my theory of not handing in work and the lack of studying before exams. Even if the Mad Killer epithet will be attributed to me by the media, I consider myself a rational erudite that only the arrival of the Grim Reaper has forced to take extreme acts. For why persevere to exist if it is only to please the government. Being rather backward-looking by nature (except for science), the feminists have always enraged me. They want to keep the advantages of women (e.g. cheaper insurance, extended maternity leave preceded by a preventative leave, etc.) while seizing for themselves those of men. Thus it is an obvious truth that if the Olympic Games removed the Men-Women distinction, there would be Women only in the graceful events. So the feminists are not fighting to remove that barrier. They are so opportunistic they [do not][72] neglect to profit from the knowledge accumulated by men through the ages. They always try to misrepresent them every time they can. Thus, the other day, I heard they were honoring the Canadian men and women who fought at the frontline during the world wars. How can you explain [that since][73] women were not authorized to go to the frontline??? Will we hear of Caesar's female legions and female galley slaves who of course took up 50% of the ranks of history, though they never existed. A real Casus Belli. Sorry for this too brief letter. Marc Lépine
R.I.P to all the 14 women who didnt get to live there lives :'(

    Julius Caeser play

On December 5th the grade 8 class and the grade 7 class went to LCVI to see Calvin Parks grade 7 class perform a play based on Julius Caeser. Well Caeser was in charge he was the leader, Brutus , Cassius, Casca ,  Trebonius ,  Liguarius ,  Decius Brutus  ,  Metellus Cimber , and Cinna  all killed Caeser.Mark Antony was very loyal to Caeser.  Caeser was killed at the capitol .  Antony forced every one to fight against each other ; because he was upset about Caeser's death because he loved Caeser like a brother. Then there was a big battle. Then , Cassius killed him self after Caesers death .

The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, also known simply as Julius Caesar, is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1599. It portrays the 44 BC conspiracy against the Roman dictator Julius Caesar, his assassination and the defeat of the conspirators at the Battle of Philippi. It is one of several Roman plays that Shakespeare wrote, based on true events from Roman history, which also include Coriolanus and Antony and Cleopatra.
Although the title of the play is Julius Caesar, Caesar is not the central character in its action; he appears in only three scenes, and is killed at the beginning of the third act. The protagonist of the play is Marcus Brutus, and the central psychological drama is his struggle between the conflicting demands of honour, patriotism, and friendship.
The play reflected the general anxiety of England over succession of leadership. At the time of its creation and first performance, Queen Elizabeth, a strong ruler, was elderly and had refused to name a successor, leading to worries that a civil war similar to that of Rome might break out after her death.

    The Shape Of a Girl

On November 22nd the Gr.8 class of First Ave P.S went to a one man play about the murder of Reena Virk . It was based on the real story of the murder . A grade 10 girl named Brainde played that play i thought that she was very inspiring to do that.

Reena Virk was bullied by a group of  7 girls plus one boy. She was bullied because she was diffrent . Thats the only reason is because she was diffrent. They didnt know  her . They didnt know her real self . They just guessed that she wasnt like them.
